Urology, or genitourinary surgery, focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs. Urology combines medical and surgical management for a variety of benign and malignant conditions, including urinary tract infection, benign prostatic hyperplasia, stone disease, urologic malignancy (prostate, bladder, kidney and testis), hematuria (blood in urine), sexual dysfunction and voiding dysfunction (incontinence).
A referral from your primary care practitioner (PCP) is required for an outpatient consultation.
Billing for Urology office visits will come from Day Kimball Medical Group. Please check with your insurance carrier about your specific coverage, copays and deductibles as well as any prior authorization requirements. If you have questions regarding your bill, need assistance with health insurance or need help paying for care, please contact the Day Kimball Medical Group business office at (860) 928-9270.
