Nephrology

Nephrology deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease. Through our partnership with our associated board-certified nephrologists from Pioneer Valley Nephrology, we are able to offer residents of Northeastern Connecticut comprehensive nephrology care close to home, at Day Kimball Hospital. A referral from your primary care practitioner (PCP) is required for an outpatient consultation.

Billing and Payment Information

Billing for physician consultation office visits will be submitted to your insurance directly by Pioneer Valley Nephrology. Billing for surgical procedures will be submitted to your insurance carrier by more than one party; the physician’s practice for surgical services, Day Kimball Hospital for facility services and Sheridan Health Corporation for anesthesiology services, when applicable.
