Behavioral Health Inpatient Unit
Our 16-room secure behavioral health inpatient unit offers group counseling areas and a community room, all with clinical observation to provide safety to our patients and their visiting families.

Burdick Family Birthing Center
Our birthing center includes seven beautifully appointed labor, delivery and recovery rooms equipped with the latest fetal monitoring and birthing equipment as well as many of the comforts of home. The Center is staffed by a warm and caring team of board certified obstetricians/gynecologists, family practice physicians, APRNs, PAs, CNMs and nurses who've been consistently rated highest in patient satisfaction in Connecticut according to an independent, national survey.

Rose Bove LaRose Cancer Center
The Rose Bove LaRose Cancer Center at Day Kimball Hospital provides compassionate, first-class cancer care close to home. The Center offers newly renovated chemotherapy rooms, a dedicated pharmacist to specifically support cancer services for added efficiency, private physicians' offices, and decor and amenities designed to enhance patient comfort and reduce stress.

Diagnostic Imaging
Comprehensive diagnostic imaging services are available at the hospital, from CT scans to X-rays. Services are available 24/7 for hospital patients, and by appointment for outpatients.

Laboratory and Blood Draw
Our top quality laboratory and blood draw services, available at Day Kimball Hospital and three other convenient locations across Northeast Connecticut, are accredited by The Joint Commission, the College of American Pathologists, and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Townsend Emergency Medical Center
Day Kimball Hospital offers exceptional emergency care - our new Townsend Emergency Medical Center (to be completed by Summer, 2015) offers 24 private patient rooms with the latest medical technologies, as well as bedside registration and a comfortable waiting room with enhanced natural lighting. Our multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, patient care technicians and unit receptionists offer exceptional care. Physicians are board certified and nurses are certified in advance cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

Gordon Harrower Memorial Intensive Care Unit
Our 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) offers the same level of care and technology found at major medical centers, close to home. All modern critical care treatment modalities are available, and our critical care team is skilled in interdisciplinary management of complex disease processes and surgical procedures.

Medical/Surgical/Pediatric Inpatient Unit
Our 47-bed inpatient unit provides rooms and hospital services for all patients whose care requires a hospital stay, from pediatric to geriatrics.
